ATLANTA, GA (March 10, 2016) – The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC), the licensing affiliate of IMG College, today announced a five-year extension of its global partnership with the University of South Carolina to continue managing the school’s successful trademark licensing program. CLC began partnering with South Carolina in 1983.

Officially-licensed product for South Carolina is now sold at more than 4,300 retail locations across the country. Royalties for the University have increased 107% since FY 2009-10. South Carolina has achieved greater in-store distribution and total sales in part through its participation in CLC’s exclusive national retail marketing platforms, including College Colors Day, Rock Your Colors and Holiday Cheer Section.

Revenue from the sale of South Carolina licensed products supports scholarships and other University initiatives.
CLC, the leading collegiate licensing agency in the U.S., signed or extended its licensing agreements with more than 50 partner institutions in 2015. CLC currently represents nearly 200 collegiate institutions, including 30 bowl games, the NCAA and the College Football Playoff.
