PASADENA, CA and ATLANTA, GA (December 31, 2021) – As the Ohio State Buckeyes and Utah Utes prepare to meet in the 108th edition of the Granddaddy of Them All®, the Rose Bowl Game presented by Capital One Venture X, on January 1, 2022, CLC is taking the necessary measures to address potential counterfeit and unlicensed merchandise in the Pasadena area in order to protect visitors and fans.
CLC, the exclusive licensing agent for the Tournament of Roses, will work closely with investigators and event officials to patrol the areas around the Parade, Rose Bowl Stadium, and the local marketplace in search of counterfeiters selling “knock-off” merchandise. All counterfeit merchandise is subject to seizure per state and federal laws.
As counterfeiters look to capitalize on the excitement and pageantry around America’s New Year Celebration®, fans should follow these tips to ensure they are buying officially licensed Rose Parade and Rose Bowl merchandise:
