ATLANTA, Ga (February 12, 2025) – CLC, the nation’s leading collegiate licensing company, and IMG, the operator of New York Fashion Weekpartnered to deliver the 14th installment of the successful U of NYFW, a one-of-a-kind education experience for 30 students from 17 universities at this February’s New York Fashion Week. This unique academic enrichment program, which is exclusively available to CLC partner institutions as an extension of the company’s continued efforts to support innovative education initiatives for its universities, provides future fashion leaders a behind-the-scenes look at the industry, including entry into select runway shows, panel discussions, and networking opportunities with industry leaders.
The students were treated to runway shows from notable designers and labels, including Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient Kim Shui and her eponymous label; identical twins Bruce and Glen Proctor with their label namesake BruceGlen, known for its bold patterns and sustainability; LA-based designer and IMG Fashion Alliance member Sergio Hudson who create luxury women’s ready-to-wear lines all produced in the USA, and NYC based luxury label Two Blondes, founded by designer Phillipe Blond and creative director David Blond and known for their glamorously over the top, rebellious fashion that caters to the entertainment industry
The students also received a NYFW Backstage experience that included special access to the TRESemmé Style Studios and participating in a Q&A with leading representatives from WME Fashion and related businesses who provided valuable insight into careers and opportunities in fashion.

In addition to the unique New York Fashion Week experiences, the students spent a half day visiting and learning with the teams at California-based fashion brand Aviator Nation and New York-based embroidery studio Klein Designs.

The CLC exclusive U of NYFW program delivered unique academic enrichment opportunities for the students with expenses covered by their universities. Institutions that participated in the collegiate enrichment program at NYFW: The Shows included University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Auburn University, Howard University, Miami University, Michigan State University, University of Missouri, NC State University, Sam Houston State University, University of South Carolina, Texas A&M University, TCU, University of Tennessee, University of Texas, VCU, Virginia Tech, and Western Michigan University.
Participating students chronicled their experiences through social media via Instagram at U of NYFW and were asked to share their learnings with other students upon their return to campus.
