Monterey Jazz Festival Provides New Online Merchandise Store as Part of Virtual Concerts

MONTEREY, CA (September 26, 2020) – With the Monterey Jazz Festival going virtual for this year’s event, the Festival is also providing a new online store for merchandise to ensure fans have access to mementos of the music, even though they can’t attend in person.

The new online store is available on the Festival’s website at montereyjazzfestival.org and includes new designs and products that reinforce the creativity and history of the Festival for all fans. With this year’s Festival featuring musical content from the event’s archives, including legendary contemporary and historic performances, the merchandise store also includes new co-branded merchandise celebrating the legendary Dizzy Gillespie, developed in conjunction with Licensing Partners International, the Festival’s licensing partner.

The 63rd Festival, which takes place September 25-27, is being streamed online each day beginning at 5:00 pm Pacific Time on the Monterey Jazz Festival’s YouTube channel.

In addition to the great line-up of music and merchandise, this year’s Festival is shining a spotlight on the Black community, which is integral to jazz and the Festival. One hundred percent of online contributions from each day of the Virtual Festival will be donated to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and to jazz artists featured at the Virtual Festival.
