Providence College Launches Vintage-Inspired College Vault Merchandise Collection

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (September 30, 2022) – Providence College, in collaboration with its exclusive trademark licensing agency, CLC, announced it is paying homage to its rich history and tradition with the launch of its College Vault merchandise collection.

The Providence College Vault program is a vintage-inspired merchandise program created by CLC that highlights historical trademarks and traditions through fashion-forward apparel and non-apparel products. College Vault products incorporates popular logos from the past on merchandise from top licensees, including Champion, Original Retro Brand, L2, 19Nine, and WinCraft.

“Our fans have a strong connection to Providence College history, and we are excited to be able to offer these retro marks as part of our new College Vault Collection,” added Audrey Gunther, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing & Promotions, Providence College Athletics. “We are pleased to deliver this unique program through some fun retail events while providing on-trend merchandise for our students and alumni to show off their Providence pride.”

The new Providence College Vault merchandise collection launched Saturday, October 1, for Homecoming and Friar Fest with a retail pop-up outside of Schneider Arena before the hockey exhibition.

“We are excited to collaborate with Providence College to deliver this unique College Vault collection as another step in their continued commitment to connect with their consumers through best-in-class merchandise,” Nicole Armentrout, CLC’s SVP of Marketing. “The College Vault collection was established to give Providence College an avenue to properly merchandise its historic logos, which have deep meaning for fans and help tell the story of the school’s rich heritage.”

In addition to the Friar Fest pop-up shop, College Vault merchandise will also be available at the Providence College Bookstore.
