NEW YORK and ATLANTA (August 28, 2025) – Stetson®, in partnership with CLC, the nation’s leading collegiate brand licensing agency, today announced the introduction of a specially designed, officially licensed headwear collection for seven universities.
Stetson, known for its high-quality, western-inspired headwear that has become a pop-culture must-have for fashion forward individuals and celebrities alike, worked in collaboration with leading collegiate licensee L2 Brands to bring the hats to market. Each hat is uniquely designed for the participating universities and will feature branding of the school, tastefully integrated into the hat band.
Texas A&M University will be the inaugural school in the collection, launching at the Aggies’ football home opener on August 30. The university will host a hat branding station and activations for its guests, as well as other promotional activities. Stetson hats will be available for fans at the Texas A&M University Bookstore.
“College sports have a way of bringing people together, and that’s exactly what we wanted this collection to do.” said Robert Dundon, CEO at Stetson. “We’re proud to put the Stetson name alongside these schools—it feels like a natural match. Fans will see their own spirit and tradition reflected in a brand that’s been part of American culture for over 160 years.”
In addition to Texas A&M, the other six institutions in the Stetson Gameday Collection by launch date include:
